Trail running is running in the great outdoors, on unpaved trails. For many outdoor athletes, trail running means pure freedom. No wonder that trail running enjoys great popularity.
The Trailrunningevent 2023 in Gastein
From 8th to 10th September 2023 Trail runners will come together at the adidas TERREX INFINITE TRAILS event in Gastein. Beginners and professionals alike fight for victory in this unique trail running team challenge. The relay-team will cope with a total of 100 kilometres and over 7.600 meters in altitude.
These are the rules of the adidas TERREX INFINITE TRAILS:
- On Saturday, September 9th, three trail runners will start as a team in three different categories (women, men, mixed).
- Each runner completes one of three laps in front of the impressive Gastein Alpine backdrop.
- The laps differ both in distance and in route profile.
- You can choose from the following adidas TERREX INFINITE TRAILS Gastein routes: 21km/1900hm - 35km/2700hm - 44km/3000hm.
- The sum of the individual results is the relay time.
- For all single starters there is a spectacular challenge with an ultra distance of 65km/5000hm over three Gastein peaks, the Gamskarkogel, the Graukogel and the Stubnerkogel. Also, new this year is a 45K loop and the popular 15K loop remains.
