Have you already booked your winter holidays? And is your biggest motivation learning how to ski or snowboard? If so, Gastein is definitely the ideal choice for you! Gasti Snowpark is the perfect area to practice and get used to the snow. The area is flat for the most part, though it also features a gentle hill whenever you are ready to try making your very first turns. And if you can't quite manage it unassisted, you can also go ahead and book a beginners' course at one of the Gastein ski schools.
For your children, the Gasti snowparks combine learning with experiences they'll never forget. They'll learn to ski playfully and have great fun in the process. And the small man-made jumps will insure that the skiing aces of tomorrow will never be bored for a minute. Right by their side is Gasti, Gastein's friendly mascot. As they get to know the area, learn the FIS Rules of the Slopes and venture out on skis inside Gasti Snowpark, this lovable character will always be there with them.
The biggest Gasti Snowpark in the region is at Angertal Ski Center. Centrally located amid the pistes of the Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel, it is the ideal starting point for beginners. On an area of around 8,000 m2, you will find magic carpets plus all kinds of gates, slalom markers and fun play figures. A snow-tubing hill and a big snow igloo also await whenever you are in the mood for a change of pace from skiing.
The Gasti Snowpark in Dorfgastein is right next to the valley station of the Fulseck Summit Lift. Three magic carpets and a platter lift make first attempts at skiing even easier. And of course, there's no shortage of those always-important slalom gates for our future pros to sharpen their skills.
If you decide to spend your holidays in Bad Gastein, you'll find the nearest Gasti Snowpark by the valley station of the Stubnerkogelbahn. Two magic carpets and a forest of slalom poles provide perfect preparation for the double chairlift right next door, which will carry your children up to a place where they can practice their first short downhill runs.
