HOW YOU CAN REACH US:
It is not possible to reach Hofgasteiner Haus by car. In summer you can either take the Schlossalmbahn to Top Station, hike from the Schlossalmbahn Middle Station, or for the more adventurous hike from the valley! If possible, luggage should be reduced. An amount of € 5,- will be charged per piece of luggage brought from the mountain station to the Hofgasteinerhaus!
In winter you can take either the Schlossalmbahn, best option if arriving with luggage to be left at Top Station for collection, or with the Sendleiten covered chair lift. Another option to reach us is to take the Hatzingalmbahn and then the Kleine Scharte chair lifts.

Local tax including Salzburg Transport Guest Mobility Ticket: €2.40 per person/night (from 15 years, as of 01/2025)
The mobility ticket allows free use of public transportation in the region.
