Authentic Gastein Mask Art by Sepp Kogler

Almost a tradition in itself, the Kursaal Bad Hofgastein once again becomes a place where living culture come to life during Advent.
This year, hand-carved Krampus masks by Sepp Kogler (born in 1962) are on display. A trained carpenter, Kogler has been crafting Krampus masks with passion and precision for 27 years. Each piece is one of a kind, carved from local Swiss stone pine and reflecting the distinctive style of the Dorfgastein and Bad Hofgastein masks.

A piece of living tradition – shaped with masterful craftsmanship that breathes life into every figure.
