The regional buses reliably connect the towns in the valley, while special ski and hiking buses take you directly to the most beautiful starting points for your activities. From 1 May 2025 , you can use all public transport free of charge during your stay with the Guest Mobility Ticket.

If you prefer to travel on two wheels, you will find a well-developed network of cycle paths in Gastein - ideal for leisurely rides along the Ache river or sporty tours in the mountains.

Your Gastein Card is your ticket to numerous benefits in the valley. It gives you discounted travel within the Gastein Valley and a reduced toll for the road to Sportgastein.

With a valid ski pass , you also enjoy free travel on the ski buses within Gastein. The toll road to Sportgastein is also included in the ski pass - so you can get to your next winter adventure in a relaxed and comfortable way.
