The Kögerlalm lies at 1400m on the western side of the village of Dorfgastein, in the heart of the Salzburgerland and offers a wonderful panorama view. You should definitely see the "Drei Waller Kapelle".
OUR ALMs SPECIALITIES:
This Alm with its natural hut invites all hikers to rest here and recharge with exclusively homemade organic produce from our Alm and farm. For children, there are animals and lots of opportunities to play (with a large well). The Alm is the ideal starting point for hiking trails and sits on the Salzburger Alpine Trail. In 2013, the Kögerlalm was awarded the first ‘GENUSSALM’ (pleasure Alm) award in SalzburgerLand.
MTB-ALM: An official Mountain Bike trail leads to the Alm.

ALM WITH OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATION: Alm with overnight accommodation for up to 20 people.

HOW TO REACH US:
The Kögerlalm can be hiked to from Lend-Gigerach via Uferbauer approx. 1.5 hrs, from Embach via Stoffdörfl 2 hrs and from Dorfgastein via Unterberg 2 hrs.

· Large washroom on the ground floor, WC in the hall

Misc.:
The Kögerlalm was rebuilt after the fire in 2011, according to all fire safety regulations and laws. The hut is completely made of wood in the living area. It’s a real Alpine pasture operation with milk production, traditional dishes of Alpine beef as well as game from our own hunting ground. We serve a lovely Alpine breakfast of homemade produce.
