The world. Europe. Austria. Hofgastein. Meal time! Blossom in the new pleasure homebase in the heart of Gastein.
The heart of the new Hotel BLÜ at Kaiser Franz Platz in Bad Hofgastein is clearly defined by the BLÜ Bar and the BLÜ Restaurant. Here, not only guests and locals feel free, but also the chefs in the kitchen. Here, mixing and blending, experimenting and passionately cooking take place. Because there are no rules here. Only open-mindedness and good taste.
Three culinary fields are strongly represented when browsing the menu: of course, the Austrian, the oriental Levantine cuisine, where vegetables play the leading role, and the exciting Southeast Asian cuisine. The venison back and the celery dumpling encounter the stuffed eggplant, the BLÜ Shakshuka meets the pho beef soup, and the ceviche challenges the Kaiserschmarrn. All influences inspire each other. This is the work of the visionary kitchen brigade. The BLÜ Restaurant is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with continuous warm kitchen service.
BLÜ for breakfast 7:30 – 10:30 a.m.
At the rich breakfast buffet, passionate breakfast lovers can fortify themselves for an exciting day. Oven-warm, homemade, baked, pickled, stewed, and fried dishes are complemented by egg dishes and omelets, fresh fruit, croissants, and French toast. Daily changing highlights such as delicious Shakshuka, Vietnamese beef noodle soup “Pho,” or the American classic “Eggs Benedict” elevate the BLÜ breakfast and enchant guests to other worlds. For late risers, there’s the BLÜ-auf breakfast à la carte “all day” with heavenly specialties.
Life pulses in the BLÜ Bar
Next door in the BLÜ Bar, a fine selection of liquid delights awaits. Locals and guests alike gather here. Right at Kaiser-Franz-Platz, enjoy a quick Caffè al Banco or a glass of Prosecco, a small beer from a local brewery, or a perfectly balanced signature cocktail - created by Bartender of the Year 2020 Isabella Lombardo - to accompany the jazz concert or DJ line. There is space for everything in the BLÜ Bar. Campari or gin, espresso or homemade lemonade, inside or outside? It doesn't matter. We are free to turn every day or evening into a casual celebration. The BLÜ Bar and terrace is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. and, as a Safe Gastein partner, is of course “safe.”
