Bad Hofgastein
Location: In the Gastein Valley just before Hofgastein on Breitenberg
Access: You can reach the mountain hut via a approximately 3 km long unpaved mountain road
Facilities: 3-room hut (approximately 50m²) for 4-6 persons
approximately 50 m², 1 bedroom + juchee (attic), sun loungers and sun umbrella available!
Energy: Solar system and generator with remote control
Heating: tiled wood stove in the living room
Water: Hot water is heated by the solar system
Ground floor:
- Living room with attached kitchen area (tiled wood stove with oven and cooking surface, coffee machine, sink with hot and cold water), dining table for 6-8 persons
- Shower and sink
- Toilet
Attic (with sloped roof):
- 1 bedroom with 2 double beds accessible via stairs
- Juchee with mattress area for up to 3 persons accessible via ladder
- Small cooler box for food and drinks in the well
Additional Information: You are in the Gastein Valley just before Hofgastein on Breitenberg. Surrounded by alpine meadows and spruce trees, your cozy mountain hut is located in a sheltered alpine hollow and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. On sunny days, it's best to start your day with breakfast outdoors with a magnificent panoramic view and end it by counting stars around a crackling campfire.
The property is fenced and thus well protected from the often very curious cows in the alpine meadows. Here, children can romp around undisturbed, pick flowers, and play at the well.
