The Reedsee is one of the most fairytale lakes throughout Salzburg county. This natural jewel in the Hohe Tauern National Park is definitely worth every effort you put into the hike up. The hike begins in Kötschachtal and leads past the towering Himmelwand, taking you further into the valley towards Prossau. After crossing the Kötschachbach, you will follow the steep uphill path until you finally reach this unique place.
