The Net - Prometheus (2022)
In "The Net - Prometheus" , Gastein once again proves his expertise when it comes to film locations. As a professional footballer, Georg (Tobias Moretti) was denied great success. Only after his career ended did he make a name for himself as a tough doping hunter and doctor. Now Georg is offered the management of a newly built high-performance clinic in Bad Gastein , a chance for him and his wife Diana (Angel Coulby) to make a fresh start. Talented young players are to be turned into the best footballers in the world using permitted methods. But doubts creep up on Georg. The most important locations in Gastein are the center of Bad Gastein with the former Grand Hotel de l'Europe and Sportgastein.

This film was also shot in Austria. The producers of the German film drama chose Bad Gastein as the location. With its natural backdrop and mystical nature in autumn, this was the ideal filming location. The locations were in Sportgastein, in the center of Bad Gastein and at the waterfall in Bad Gastein.
