Retro Ski Workshop

Topics: Winter | Winter finale | OFF Spring

Information about the Event:

Narrow track, knees together, rhythmic hip swing: At the start of the Retro Festival Gastein, a skiing technique comes back to life that was a must on every slope in the 80s and 90s. The ski instructors of the Bad Hofgastein ski school demonstrate how stylishly one would sweep down into the valley back then, with plenty of tips, a few anecdotes, and a lot of winking.

What counts is not perfect technique, but the swing and the fun. Whoever has a ski suit from back then in their closet should definitely unpack it: neon colors, headbands, and fanny packs are explicitly desired. A successful start to the Retro Week!
