Your alpine pasture experience begins with a change of perspective: take the Schlossalmbahn cable car to the mountain station in comfort – leaving everyday life behind in the valley step by step. From there, the hike takes you across the wide alpine pastures of the Leidalm into a landscape that has been farmed for generations. Between pastures, mountain flowers and the soft sound of cowbells, you will experience the tranquil power of summer in the mountains. The destination is an original, rustic alpine hut. During a leisurely stop, you will encounter genuine alpine tradition – authentic, down-to-earth and warm-hearted. The way back leads through the forest to the middle station and once again impressively combines the contrasts of this tour: modern mountain railway and traditional alpine farming, panorama and tranquillity, comfort and nature.
