Steep, steeper, Beinhoat. Austria’s steepest challenge awaits in Dorfgastein. Be there live as athletes tackle the 1,200 metres of elevation gain between the valley and mountain stations of the Fulseck Gipfelbahn.
A very friendly lady at the ticket office helped us choose the right ticket. She knew which line was running and how we could continue our journey. That’s not something one can take for granted these days. Thank you for that.
The Fulseck cable car in Dorfgastein takes us up to over 2,000 metres. Once at the top, a stunning panoramic view of the Alps unfolds before us. Paragliders take off from here, and there’s a playground for children. It’s not far down to the Spiegelsee from there. The climb or the cable car ride is definitely worth it, especially with children.
