Arrival in the idyllic village of Dorfgastein
Dorfgastein in beautiful Salzburger Land is characterized by ideal transport connections - including a wide range of mobility options. Whether you arrive by car or environmentally friendly by train: The journey can be organized smoothly and sustainably. The local hiking bus in summer and the ski bus in winter make it easy to get around.

Arrival by car
For guests arriving by car, Dorfgastein is easily accessible via the nearby motorway and main road. Dorfgastein can be reached quickly and easily from Vienna via the A1 and A10. From Munich, you can take the A8 and then the A10. From both directions, the highway must be exited at the Pongau/Bischofshofen junction.
There is ample parking and charging stations for electric cars available at the Dorfgasteiner Bergbahnen car park, as well as scattered throughout Dorfgastein. This way you can easily get to the center or to the various leisure and recreational facilities.
Arrival by train
Dorfgastein is located on the Tauern railway line and is perfectly integrated into the rail network.
Advantages of traveling by train:

Out and about by bus in Dorfgastein
The local bus service in Dorfgastein 571 & 572 is well organized, so you can leave your car at home. In winter, the ski bus goes directly to the valley station of the Fulseck summit lift. Day guests arriving by train from Salzburg use the service to get from the train station to the lifts.
- Bus routes 550, 553 and 554 take guests from A to B in Gastein all year round.
