Right next to the midway station, along Gasti’s ball course, a special challenge awaits. From the jumping platform, you can jump from a height of 1.5 or 3 meters into the soft landing pad. Afterward, the cozy seating area invites you to relax and enjoy a snack.

The 700-meter-long ball course starts at the middle station of the Fulseck summit cable car, winds through the forest, and offers fun and excitement at seven stations featuring Gasti. The wooden ball can be purchased for 2 euros at the valley station or from the vending machine at the midway station. An extra thrill awaits at the final station, where you have the chance to double your points.

Are the hiking trails at Fulseck kid-friendly?

Fulseck offers several family-friendly hiking trails. The trail to Spiegelsee—which features a barefoot path and a forest playground—and the Mushroom Nature Trail are particularly well-suited for families. Gasti’s Ball Course is also a short, fun loop for families.

Are there any family discounts on cable car tickets?

Children receive discounted fares, and toddlers ride for free. For families with more than two children, the third and each additional child rides for free. In addition, there’s an early-bird discount when purchasing tickets online. On Fridays in July and August, a discounted ride up the mountain to the Children’s Festival is available with advance registration through the Dorfgastein Tourism Association.
