Mirror Lake
The Spiegelsee at Fulseck is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Dorfgastein. This idyllically situated reservoir offers a breathtaking panorama and is the perfect spot for a relaxing break.
There are plenty of activities for all ages around Spiegelsee. The barefoot trail winds around the lake and even runs through the water for a short stretch, allowing visitors to experience nature with all their senses. What are the operating hours of the Gipfelbahn up to Fulseck?
The first ride on the Fulseck Summit Cable Car departs at 8:30 a.m. The last descent from the top station is at 4:00 p.m., and from the mid-station at 4:30 p.m. On Tuesdays in July and August, the Fulseck Summit Cable Car also operates longer hours for evening rides, running from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Where is Spiegelsee located?
Spiegelsee is a reservoir located on the Fulseck at an elevation of about 1,800 meters, near the top station of the Fulseck summit cable car. It can be reached via a short hiking trail.
A barefoot trail circles the lake, running partly through the water, and provides a refreshing way to cool off on warm days. The forest and water playground is also located right by the lake.
What is mountain carting, and how does it work?
Riders take a three-wheeled Mountaincart on a 4.8-kilometer downhill ride from the top station to the middle station, covering an elevation drop of over 500 meters.
Is there a mountain bike trail at Fulseck?
Yes, you can ride a mountain bike on Fulseck, and bikes (maximum weight 22 kg) can also be transported via the gondola. The 10-km-long MTB singletrack is accessible from the top station of the Fulseck summit cable car. It leads to the middle station of the Panorama cable car, from where the return trip to Fulseck and Dorfgastein is possible exclusively by gondola.
