You reach the Hohenstein hut via an approx. 3km long mountain road. The final 50m are unsurfaced.
Facilities: 5-Room-Hut (approx. 100m²) for 8 - 9 people

The modern kitchen makes the heart of every hobby cook beat faster. A view from the window after a relaxing night, and the world - or at least the Gasteiner Valley - is at your feet. A sun-bathing area with sunbeds, garden furniture and barbecue area offer a good possibility to relax and rest at the end of an eventful day. Visit the inn of the owners - the Schmaranz-Bräu. Self-brewed beer, many organic products and animal welfare are among the specialties. "Live with animals and nature" is the motto here. In summer you can also enjoy these products on the old "Wiedner-Alm" at 1,770m. Self-catering hut with sauna, non-smoking, 2 pets allowed
