Bad Hofgastein
Hike tour to the Gamskarkogel in the Gastein Valley, the highest grass mountain in Europe!
At 2467 meters above sea level, an impressive panorama unfolds in all directions, including dreamy sunrises and sunsets! Directly at the summit, the oldest mountain hut in Europe invites you for a cozy stop.
If you wish to stay overnight, please register in advance.
The Gamskarkogel Hut is open until and including September 20.

- From September 14 to September 20, operating with limited hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
HOW TO REACH US
From Bad Hofgastein: starting from the Annencafé, hike further towards Rastötzenalm. Upon arrival, you will find a marked path that leads you further up to Gamskarkogel.
From Bad Gastein: starting from the Kötschachtal, march up to Poserhöhe (approximately 1 hour), from here you will also find a marked trail to Gamskarkogel.
