A small pottery in Dorfgastein


Surrounded by majestic mountain peaks, Dorfgastein lies dreamily at the entrance to the Gastein Valley. A little away from the town center, where the lively Mühlbach gushes bubbling downhill, stands in the middle of the garden my workshop. An ancient craft is eagerly practiced here. One of the oldest in our history - pottery.

Here in the village pottery, unique one-of-a-kind pieces are created from earthy clay - pottery that is turned by hand on the potter's wheel and lovingly decorated.
