From the train station in Bad Gastein or the valley terminal of the Stubnerkogel lifts, this promenade leads south to Böckstein. The extremely sunny Elisabeth Promenade takes you along the banks of the Gasteiner Ache. Since the flat path runs along both sides of the stream, it also lends itself as a bit of a hiking loop. One rewarding attraction along the way is the baroque pilgrimage church “Maria vom guten Rat” in Böckstein.
