This scenic hike begins at Brandebengut, a charming mountain farm located above Bad Hofgastein. A hiking parking lot is available, making it a convenient starting point for the tour.
The wide gravel path gently winds its way uphill through a beautiful mixed forest. Along the way, you reach the Bürgermeisterblick, a stunning viewpoint offering the first panoramic glimpse of the Gastein Valley.
After approximately two hours of hiking, you arrive at the Biberalm, a cozy alpine hut at around 1,735 meters above sea level. From here, you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the entire Gastein Valley, including the spa towns of Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein, as well as the towering peaks of the Hohe Tauern mountains, featuring several 3,000-meter summits.
