Information about the Event:

Preparations take several days. Tractors are decorated and animals are groomed, because everyone wants to have it, the most beautiful of all carts.
On the big day, they take their positions before the festive parade through the town center starts. With a lot of music, it moves past hundreds of spectators who admire the event from the roadside. And there is truly a lot to see. The farmers depict old, traditional crafts on the wagons. The women showcase their handiwork, and at the distiller, exquisite drops are tasted. The celebration and dancing take place at the end of the day during the grand harvest festival. The harvest parade occurs every two years alternately in the towns of Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein.
