Route: Start from the South parking lot – Kirchplatz – Kursaal - Alpentherme - Restaurant Aiche – Apartment NH 96 – Passage through the senior citizens' home - End at the new fire station.

Preparations take several days. Tractors are decorated and animals are groomed because everyone wants to have the most beautiful of all floats. On the big day, they line up before the festive parade starts through the town center. With lots of music, they pass by hundreds of onlookers who admire the spectacle from the roadside. And there is indeed a lot to see. The farmers display old, traditional crafts on the floats. The women showcase their handicrafts, and at the distillery, fine spirits are sampled. Celebrations and dancing occur at the end of the day during the big harvest festival. The harvest parade takes place every two years alternately in the towns of Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein.
