A cult event is making a comeback: The ski rally has provided unforgettable experiences in the ski area since the 80s and 90s. As part of the Retro Festival Gastein, it will celebrate its comeback on March 20, 2027, in the style of the past.

In teams of four and in authentic outfits, participants will traverse the Schlossalm and Angertal ski areas. At the participating ski huts, varied game stations await, where skills, music knowledge, and historical know-how are put to the test. In the grand finale at 3:00 p.m. at the Salettl mountain lift, excitement will peak once more: The teams will compete for the last crucial points before the winning team of the ski rally is crowned. The awards ceremony and aftershow party will take place starting at 5:00 p.m.


An additional award will be given for the best retro outfit. Bright neon colors, iconic ski suits, legendary accessories: The more eye-catching, the better. A jury will award the team with the most convincing look, and exciting prizes await the winning team. The only requirement: Each participant must wear at least one accessory in the style of the 80s or 90s during the ski rally.

A legendary event that combines physical activity with play, nostalgia, and true retro flair.
