In January, Bad Gastein once again transforms into the stage for the legendary VISA FIS Snowboard Alpine World Cup.

Experience the international snowboarding elite up close as they compete in thrilling floodlit races on the Bucheben piste. The combination of top sporting performance and incomparable atmosphere makes this event a must for all winter sports fans.

The racing slope

An average slope gradient of34 degrees makes the Bucheben one of the steepest courses in the World Cup. The course is 262 meters long with a difference in altitude of 84 meters. 100 floodlight masts with more than 2000 watts illuminate the slope at the night final.
