The Graukogel is famous for its beautiful and ancient stands of arolla pine, with many of the trees 250-300 years old. The Arolla Pine Path begins right next to the mountain station of the Graukogelbahn. Uniquely designed seats made out of pine allow you to enjoy a short break. A big outdoor arolla pine bed is especially inviting! Arolla pine, incidentally, has been proven to lower your heartbeat, which in turn promotes a sense of deeper relaxation.
