This tour begins at Skizentrum Angertal. The first short climb is next to the B11 piste, continuing via the gently ascending old path through the forest. Having crossed the ski path twice, our route becomes steeper. Here, you also have the option of switching to piste B11. But if you continue the tour through the trees, the route winds its way through the snowy forest, finally emerging at the Stubneralm, a hut that serves refreshments to guests in the summer months. And here it is, that amazing view we had been promised, of Bad Hofgastein below and the Hochkönig massif to the north. We now ski back down the mountain on the B11. Use of the car park, the signposted ski-touring route for the ascent and the piste for the ride back down are included in the Piste Touring Single Ticket, the Piste Touring Season Ticket along with all multiday and season passes.
