Information about the Event:

Salzburg Museum Weekend 2026.

The history of the museum building goes back to 1583, when a miner built it and lived in it until 1600. After that it was the dwelling of the shepherd and around the house the dead animals were buried for over 300 years, the carrion site was only relocated in 1903.
