The hike starts from the parking lot and leads into the narrow and impressive Anlauf Valley.
The ranger will bring the unique flora and fauna of the Hohe Tauern National Park to life along the way and tell interesting stories about the region. The tour follows the picturesque path along the Anlauf stream. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and the untouched nature!
The destination is the idyllic Radeckalm, where a short break will be made to enjoy the surrounding mountain world. It is recommended to bring your own provisions, as dining and therefore catering at the hut is not possible.
After the break, the return journey will take place.
Meeting point: 9:30 AM, Anlauf Valley parking lot
(Follow the access road past the lock station. There is a parking lot on the right before the bridge.)
Take the bus to the stop "Böckstein Abz. Anlauf Valley", then walk to the meeting point.
Duration: approx. 6 hours (approx. 4 hours of pure walking time)

Elevation gain: 500 meters uphill and downhill

Equipment: Sports or lightweight trekking shoes, rain and sun protection, suitable clothing and a change of clothes, backpack with drinks and snacks
