“Charity Concert in Support of the Organ Renovation of the Parish Church of Bad Hofgastein”
A special musical sign of solidarity will be set by the GasteinKlang Choir on Friday, 13 March 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Church of Bad Hofgastein: as part of a charity concert, choral music and organ sounds will be performed in support of the organ renovation in the Parish Church of Bad Hofgastein. All proceeds from the evening will go entirely towards this important project. Admission is based on voluntary donations.
With great dedication and joyful anticipation, the GasteinKlang Choir, the Bad Hofgastein Youth Choir and the Bad Hofgastein Primary School Choir will jointly present a varied and inspiring concert programme. Across generations, young and experienced voices will unite in harmonious collaboration, performing sacred works, moving songs and selected choral pieces.
The organ will be played by Marian Milucky, whose performance will beautifully highlight the unique acoustics of the church interior. Dietmar Magler will guide the audience through the programme as narrator, thoughtfully connecting the musical contributions with reflective texts and commentary.
The overall musical direction is in the experienced hands of choir director Martin Aigner, who has carefully prepared the performers for this evening with meticulous rehearsal work and a refined sense of sound and expression.
This charity concert is not only intended as a cultural highlight of the spring season, but also as a shared commitment to preserving a valuable instrument that has shaped the religious and cultural life of Bad Hofgastein for centuries.
