The CALL Film Festival brings film stars and Reinhold Messner to Bad Hofgastein.
From May 28 to 31, the CALL Film Festival will take place for the first time in Bad Hofgastein. With numerous national and international stars, legends, a clear thematic focus – "Movies with a Cause," cinema with a purpose, and films addressing important issues – as well as the world's first cinematic retrospective on cross-border adventurer Reinhold Messner.
A star lineup like the Gastein Valley hasn't seen in a long time: Two exciting program focuses will be at the center of the first CALL Film Festival 2026, taking place from May 28 to 31 in Bad Hofgastein:
“CALL for Nature” and “CALL for Peace”, two of the most important topics of our time. Bad Hofgastein expects a multitude of prominent personalities who will present films or engage in discussions on stage, at audience talks, and in masterclasses.
