Information about the Event:
Trail running is running in the great outdoors, on unpaved trails. For many outdoor athletes, trail running means pure freedom. No wonder that trail running enjoys great popularity.
Individual Trails
For all individual participants , there is a spectacular challenge with an ultra distance of 60K over three Gastein peaks, the Gamskarkogel, the Graukogel , and the Stubnerkogel.
Additionally, there is the beautiful long distance 45K with breathtaking mountain panorama, a new medium distance 30K and the popular 15K introductory distance, which is open to everyone who feels up to the 900 meters of elevation gain.
Team Race
- On Saturday, each three trail runners will start as a relay team in three different categories (women, men, mixed).
- Each runner completes one of three lapsagainst the impressive backdrop of the Gastein Alps.
- The laps differ both in distance and in course profile.
- The following adidas INFINITE TRAILS Gastein courses are available: 21.4 km/1855 m ascent – 34.9 km/2726 m ascent – 44.2 km/3146 m ascent.
- The sum of the individual results determines the team time.
In adverse weather conditions, the race will be held on bad weather-safe routes below 1800 m.
