This guided Bike & Hike Tour combines the best of two worlds: powerful mountain biking and a scenic summit experience.

With the bike, you will sportily and enjoyably ride up the forest road from Dorfgastein to the Präau Hochalm – the highest alpine pasture in Dorfgastein at 1,808 m above sea level. Over 1,000 meters of elevation are efficiently conquered, the pulse quickens, and anticipation rises. At the around 150-year-old, traditionally managed alpine pasture, the
bike is parked and hiking boots are put on. The path continues for about an hour to the summit of Tagkopf – where an impressive panoramic view of the Gastein Valley and the surrounding mountains awaits.
Back at the rustic Präau Alm, enjoy homemade regional delicacies and true alpine idyll, before comfortably descending into the valley with plenty of riding fun and flow. A sporty nature experience for all those who want to combine movement, panorama, and culinary delights.
