Marked ski tours in Gastein

Are you a novice in this field? Then you can improve your skills in Gastein, in the province of Salzburg.

With signposted tours you are guaranteed to start safely in this sport, which is new to you, and make your vacation in the mountains a very special experience. Of course, you can also rent the equipment in one of the sports stores in Gasteinertal and start your winter vacation .

Ski touring routes

 

Use of the routes requires a valid ski ticket (season ticket, multi-day ticket, day ticket) or a separate piste touring ticket.

The ski touring evenings (Graukogel and Stubneralm) and the piste touring routes on the Graukogel (ST 2 + ST 3) remain free of charge!

 

The toll for the Gastein Alpine Road is NOT included in the piste touring tickets!

10 rules for piste tours:

  1. Observewarnings and local regulations.
  2. Only ski on the edges of freshly groomed slopes.
  3. Only ascend at the edge of the slope and one behind the other.
  4. Make yourself visible.
  5. Do not take dogs on slopes.
  6. Obey the closure of a slope.
  7. In the evening, leave the slopes at the time specified by the cableway company.
  8. Cross the slopes only in clear places and at a sufficient distance from each other.
  9. In the case of ski slopes specially dedicated to ski touring, use only these ski slopes.
  10. Use designated parking areas.
