Information about the Event:

First aid to participate in - all three training stations are in the area of the Schlossalm mountain station.

With “A Valley Learns to Rescue,” First Aid in the Mountains is truly fun! The initiative of Red Cross Gastein is back this summer with two dates at Stubnerkogel. At three stations near the Schlossalm cable car mountain station, participants will learn resuscitation, how to deal with illnesses, and care for fall and joint injuries. The stations are free of charge and offer a lot of practical input with minimal time investment and in a realistic environment. All participants who complete all stations will receive a certificate and a small gift.

  • Sunday, June 28
  • Saturday, August 15 at Schlossalm

Program
the Red Cross offers 35 minutes of practical instruction at three stations throughout the day on the topic of First Aid in the Mountains:

  • Resuscitation
  • Acute emergencies (heart attack, allergic reaction, diabetes)
  • Tent Red Cross – fall and joint injuries
     

The hiking swing is continuously in operation from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
