Visitors of the trail running event

From 6 to 8 September 2024, Gastein in Salzburger Land will once again be transformed into a hotspot for trail runners from all over the world.

The adidas TERREX INFINITE TRAILS will attract 1500 runners from 59 nations to Salzburger Land. Under the motto #celebratethesport, they celebrate the unique mountain world in which they run and the special community that has formed around this event.

As a spectator, you can experience this international trail run event up close - whether early in the morning at the start from 6.00 a.m. in the Alpenarena in Bad Hofgastein or along the race routes through the impressive Gastein mountains. For all early risers there is free coffee and croissant at the start (while stocks last).

Expo Area

In the start and finish area in the Alpenarena there is an Expo Area with products from adidas TERREX, adidas Eyewear, ArchMax, Leki and Intersport Fleiss.

Also 2023, the adidas TERREX INFINITE TRAILS are initiating a big Giving Back tree planting campaign to reforest damaged forest areas in the Gastein Valley. Purchase tree seedlings in the Expo Area and support this successful campaign.

By public transport

7 September is petrol-free day in SalzburgerLand. This means that spectators can use all public transport (including the ÖBB) to and from Gastein free of charge on race day. You can also travel from place to place within the valley free of charge on the Postbuses.

Hiking swing ticket

On race day, all spectators have the opportunity to purchase a hiking swing ticket from the Gastein cable cars to travel comfortably along the various race courses. With just one ticket you can use the Schlossalmbahn, the Kaserebenbahn, the Senderbahn, the Stubnerkogelbahn and the Graukogel lifts. For INFINITE TRAILS friends & family, the ticket is available at a reduced price of € 29.50. However, the ticket must be purchased online by 6 September.

Cheering mile in Bad Gastein

From 8.00 a.m., the street in the center of Bad Gastein is transformed into the "Cheering Mile". From Straubingerplatz to the Salzburger Hof, all trail runners can be cheered on with wooden rattles. The following highlights are offered along the mile:

Celebrate The Sport

No matter if you are a rookie and experience your very first competition at the 15K RUN with 900 meters of altitude or if you are an ultra fan and finish your racing season on the unique 60K course with 5000 meters of altitude over three Gastein peaks, the adidas TERREX INFINITE TRAILS provide runners of all levels with an unforgettable experience.

From the very beginning, the supreme discipline is the Team Race. For a change, you don't just run for yourself, but for your team camaraderie. Three trail runners start at the same time in the morning as a relay team in the categories women, men or mixed. All teams have to cover a total distance of 100 kilometers and 7,600 meters of altitude.
