The 4-star Alpine Spa Hotel Haus Hirt with heartfelt personal service offers couples, families and single travellers a time of balance and enjoyment. The tranquil setting near the car-free Kaiser-Wilhelm-Promenade ensures calm sleep in harmony with nature.
The hotel is just 15 minutes walking distance from the centre of the health resort Bad Gastein. Feel the flair of the Belle Époque while strolling along the promenades, beneath a backdrop of the impressive mountains of the National Park Hohe Tauern.

Precious natural wood, clear lines, a magnificent view. The hotel has 19 double rooms, 1 single room and 9 suites ranging from 16–45 m², perfectly combining heritage with modern innovative architecture. The sleek and classy interior underlines the urban concept of the hotel. Highlight: All rooms and suites boast a spectacular view of the Gastein valley in the Salzburger Land.
The weekly activity programme includes daily Yoga classes and guided hiking tours. Spend the morning hiking at the Graukogel, freeriding in Sportgastein, or going on a guided cycling tour to the Prossau. In the evening, relax in the hotel’s Aveda Spa with soothing thermal baths, sauna, steam bath, swimming pool and relaxation room.
Gourmets can expect creative, seasonally-inspired treats for the palate, paired with fine wines of well-known winemakers. We also offer delicious Ayurvedic and vegetarian menus.
Our hotel is a wonderful base for holidays with children. We create a perfect environment with only a few rules to make our little guests feel welcome, offering lots of adventures and excursions like gold panning, baking bread or horseback riding.
