Dorfgastein
The "Präau Alm" in Dorfgastein, in the heart of the Salzburgerland is one of the few alpine pastures, which is characterized by its unspoilt nature and its naturalness. Although the hut is already over 150 years old, Monika and Sepp spend the summer pasture above the Gastein valley every year.
SPECIAL AT OUR ALM:
We manage the alpine pasture already the 29th summer. Here we process daily the milk of our cows to delicious cheese, butter, alm-mozarella, plugs and yogurt. Interested guests are welcome to look over the shoulder.
KIDS-ALM: Especially for children (e.g. wooden play equipment, themed or adventure)
MTB-ALM: An official Mountain Bike trail leads to the Alm.

HOW TO REACH US:
From Dorfgastein from the railway station via the old road 3.5 hrs
From Dorfgastein from Luggau via Waldweg (steep) 3 hrs
From Dorfgastein from the parking lot Präau-Gut über Waldweg 3 hrs.

Hut without electricity - please bring your own lamp

· Bath with shower and wash basin, shower with hot water is possible from late afternoon to evening -
