Opening residencies
While the town of Bad Gastein in Austria recovers from the hustle and bustle between seasons, Culturim will use the period of temporary vacancy to create creative spaces for artists. From 12 May to 31 May 2025, a boutique house and the former hydroelectric power station will be transformed into a temporary artist residency with studios and accommodation.
The aim of the artist-in-residence programme is to promote networking and exchange, the artistic development of the participants and a final presentation of the works created during the programme. The kick-off for the Bad Gastein art programme of sommer.frische.kunst will be the final exhibition in the studios at the Kraftwerk on 30.05.2025. Afterwards, Haus Bergfriede, Culterim and sommer.frische.kunst will invite invited guests and the artists to dinner at Haus Bergfriede.
