Wake up and enjoy a breath-taking view – our Appartementhotel Sonnenwende is only a few minutes away from the historical centre of the spa resort of Bad Gastein, with a fantastic view of the Gasteinertal in the Salzburger Land. Après ski, restaurants and shopping possibilities are all easily accessible within a 500-metre radius. You can reach the Graukogel cable cars within 7 minutes on foot. In winter, a ski bus stops right outside your door and takes you to the Gasteinertal’s pistes. The Felsentherme thermal spa Bad Gastein is 8 minutes away from our apartments on foot.
Description
Where Scandinavian design meets traditional alpine style – between 2-10 people can be accommodated in our 23 apartments. The units all between 45m2 and 135m2 each come with a modern and well equipped kitchen, a living room as well as with a bathroom. A lift, as well as free internet complete the comforts of the house. For your car there is one parking spot available per unit in the underground parking. Experience holidays with a special touch in our Penthouse as well as in the Deluxe apartments that each come with 3 bedrooms, as well as 3 bathrooms. Pure luxury in addition to a breath-taking view of the entire Gasteinertal and its waterfall awaits you here on the top floor of the house. The impressive garden terrace of the Appartementhotel Sonnenwende as well offers unforgettable panorama views. During winter months you should not miss out on the culinary treats of our own Café-Restaurant.
At your arrival you must pay € 400,00 deposit cash or by credit card.
Winter in Gastein
You will experience ultimate skiing pleasures in your winter vacation in the 5 skiing areas of the Gasteinertal. Enjoy fresh powder snow in Sportgastein or try the challenging descents in the Graukogel skiing area. Spa & wellness moments as a couple or together with the entire family can be experienced when visiting the Felsentherme thermal spa.
Summer in Gastein
In summer, the Gasteinertal offers lush green meadows, clear mountain lakes and alpine lodges that offer typical Austrian hospitality. Idyllic meadows and recreational moments are on offer in Sportgastein. An exciting activity during your family summer vacation is a visit of the 140-metre suspension bridge on the Stubnerkogel.
