Location
In a sunny hillside location, the VIU apartment house greets you in Bad Hofgastein. The incomparable view of the surrounding mountains invites exploration and activities all year round. The most beautiful hiking trails into the Angertal and to the picturesque Schlossalm begin just behind the house. Public transport options such as ski and bus lines are just a few minutes' walk away.
Apartments & Amenities
The bright, stylishly furnished apartments (25–52 m²) offer plenty of space and cozy comfort for two to four people – whether couples or families, everyone will feel at home here. Two covered parking spaces directly at the house ensure a relaxed arrival and departure even in winter.
Of course, we provide bed and table linens, as well as hand and bath towels free of charge. The basic amenities include TV and Wi-Fi, as well as a fully equipped kitchen.
Natural Pool – Unique and Chemical-Free
The absolute highlight of the house is the natural pool, supplied by our own spring and completely free from chemicals – cleaned exclusively in a natural way. While swimming, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The special architecture with infinity edge and a world-unique in-pool staircase makes the pool a place of pure well-being – whether for refreshing, sports swimming, or simply enjoying.
Wellness – Generous & Scenic
Starting in winter 2025, a spacious wellness area will enhance your vacation experience. With a sauna, bathtub, relaxation room, and a terrace in front, it offers pure relaxation amid the mountains. From here, you will have a equally magnificent view of the valley – a retreat that revitalizes both body and mind. A special highlight is the outdoor shower, directly supplied by our own spring.
Summer
In the warm months, the impressive mountain world beckons with countless opportunities: hiking, mountain biking, summit tours, or relaxed panoramic trails – many of which start right at the front door. Numerous inns and restaurants in the walkable town center invite you to culinary delights. Our own terraces and the sunbathing lawn offer additional space to relax.
Winter
In the cold season, the region delights with a diverse winter sports offer: from romantic winter hikes to the well-prepared slopes in the family-friendly ski center Angertal. Modern lift systems are conveniently accessible via the free ski bus. The famous Alpentherme Gastein is only five minutes by car and offers numerous themed saunas and heated pools – perfect for relaxing after an active day on the slopes.
