Radon Thermal Steambath. This successful form of radon therapy has been practiced since 1825.
Directly above the hot spring number 12 (“Elisabeth spring”). Our customers sit in the comfortable cabin for approx. 20 minutes, enveloped by the steam of the hot spring.
The therapeutic principle is based on a very intense absorption of radon, which is possible without putting stress on the circulatory system. The hydrostatic pressure of a full bath is missing in the steambath. Fresh air is breathed in at room temperature in a steambath, which has considerable benefits for sensitive patients. This radon treatment is for people which are not suitable for the Healing Galleries. Steambaths can be used as an alternative to the Gastein Healing Galleries.
