Welcome to the Schmaranzbräu, the first Austrian organic wheat beer brewery! The Schmaranzgut has been growing and harvesting barley and brewing beer for centuries, still popular to this day for special occasions. Historically, the beer was brewed in the 480 year old Kehrerhaus - as it still is today. Our brew pub invites you to enjoy a great time! Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the beer world of times past, and experience the unique pleasure of nature by the crackling fire of the pub... Cuisine: Our butcher’s shop also sells homemade sausage: including blood sausage and Breinwurst. In the lounge, we mainly offer home-style cooking such as blood sausage griddle, steaks from young beef, schnitzel, and pork roast from our own, free-range young pigs. It is cooked in concentrated butter. The specialties are prepared over an open fire in the pub. Of course there are also cold dishes: snacks, bacon, and a variety of homemade sausages. We can accommodate 40 people (inside) and ca. 70 in the shady beer garden. Brewery tours possibly by phone appointment!
