Trailrunning Camp

Information about the Event:

Dive into the world of trail running with ultratrailrunner, ASTA trailrunning guide & adidas TERREX trail coach Manuela Dietzinger and explore the fascinating Gastein mountains together in a group!

 

In addition to one or two guided trailrunning tours per day with certified guides, the camp includes practical tips about trailrunning as a hobby and for competitions, theoretical input, units for active regeneration, test equipment on site, and much more. 

 

Procedure:

 

Thursday 

3 pm First meeting, short introduction round, answering questions about the camp, material check for compulsory equipment & issue of test material

3:30-4:30 pm Warm-up / first trail sightseeing trailrun with first technique tips: Course approx. 5-10 km and 250-500 hm.

6:15 pm impulse lecture trailrunning: history, compulsory equipment, weather knowledge, trailrunning techniques, tips and tricks, nutrition etc.

 

Friday

 

9 am-1 pm Warm-Up / Trailrun with stops approx. 17-20 km and 1200 hm, running style training, analysis and optimization  (length & duration depending on group size and ability level & wishes of the participants)

lunch break

4 pm Active regeneration with Saneo, yoga, wellness etc.


Saturday

 

9:30 am - 2 pm Trailrun with breaks, approx. 18 km an 1200 hm (length & duration depending on group size and ability level & wishes of the participants)

4 pm Regenerative training (e.g. fascia roll/yoga/strength/mobility and/or wellness) 


Sunday

Individual planning of the day together with the participants.

6 am Sunsrise Trailrun, approx. 5 km and 500 hm

breakfast break

approx. 10-11 am Optional: second trailrun, max. 10 km, approx. 250-600 hm (depending on group size, performance level and wishes of the participants) 

 

Level:

For solid road runners (can run at least 2h on the flat), for trail running novices, pleasure runners and advanced. The pace is not crucial, because there are always breaks.

 

Mandatory equipment:

 

This equimpemnt is a must have for taking part at the trailrunning camp and has to be shown at the beginning af the camp. 

  • trailrunning shoes with tread
  • running backpack or vest with water container (drinking bottles or bladder 1-2l)
  • emergency whistle
  • waterproof rain jacket (water column 10.000-20.000 recommended)
  • running clothes suitable for the weather (long and short running pants, long and short running shirt, waterproof rain pants suitable for running if necessary)
  • gloves, hat or headband, buff and cap
  • sunglasses, sunscreen
  • first aid kit with emergency blanket, compress, various plasters, gauze bandage, blister plaster if necessary
  • head lights (can be borrowed if necessary) 
  • food for the road: gels, bars, dried fruit, electrolytes, etc.

€ 369 p.p.

It is also possible to book individual days:

(Prices incl. guided trailruns, presentation, regeneration and mobility sessions, rental material, goodie bag with goodies from partners adidas terrex, adidas terrex infinite trails, Saneo, etc.;
