Chamber music-cycle

The popular chamber music concerts, which take place annually between September and October, have the motto "Du holde Kunst" this year.
This year's theme is based on the well-known art song "An die Musik" composed by Franz Schubert, with lyrics by Franz von Schober, in which the unique power of music is sung about:
"Thou fair art, in how many gray hours, where life's wider circle entangles me. You have inflamed my heart to warm love, you have carried me away into a better world."
Renowned ensembles from Salzburg and the surrounding area will transport the audience to other worlds with their heart-warming sounds, spanning musical arcs between Viennese Classicism, Romanticism and the 20th century. As usual, the musicians will tell exciting anecdotes and interesting stories from the world of music between the musical pieces. A feast for the ears all along the line!
