Guided Hiking Tour: Rauchkögerl

Minimum number of participants: 3

For leisurely hikers:
Walking time: ca. 4 hours, 700 meters of ascent, 700 meters of descent

After the taxi ride to the Huberalm, the hike starts in the direction of the Drei Waller Chapel, an ancient pilgrimage site.
This is located on a pass at 1 425 m and offers a unique view of the Gastein Valley.
The further ascent to the Rauchkögerl (1,810 m) is very rewarding - the view into the extensive Salzach valley is impressive.
The summit cross invites you to linger with the magnificent view.
The descent is via the Kögerlalm trail to the Huberalm and from there the return journey by taxi to Dorfgastein.
End of the hike approx. 3 pm.
Participation in the guided hikes is free with the Gastein Card!
Bus and taxi transfer costs and consumption are to be paid extra. Good equipment and mountain/hiking boots are absolutely necessary!
