The Hotel BLÜ in Gastein

The BLÜ is the new Alpine Casual Hotel in the Gastein Valley. It unfolds in a prominent location - in the middle of Kaiser-Franz-Platz in the heart of Bad Hofgastein. Here it is entirely dedicated to free development, enjoyment and everything and everything that has nothing to do with everyday life. Living

The "tree house" is a completely new hotel wing, in which free spirits and interior lovers feel very comfortable. The tree house offers space for 30 contemporary and very casual double rooms of the categories "BLÜ Moon" and "BLÜ Cool".

In the main building there are also well-maintained single rooms and double rooms of the categories "BLÜ Small" and "BLÜ Grand" - most of the rooms are equipped with a balcony.

Life pulsates in the BLÜ Bar, directly at Kaiser-Franz-Platz. And for guests and locals alike. A quick caffè al banco in passing, a glass of prosecco with friends, a good beer from the local brewery after the mountain tour or perfectly mixed drinks for a jazz concert or the DJ line - there is room for everything here.

In addition, the BLÜ restaurant serves fine food and combines regional cuisine with influences from all over the world. If you are on a half-board holiday at BLÜ, you can dine a 3 course menu (also à la carte with supplement) - true to the motto "I'm so free" - at a time of your choice. And start every day with all sorts of delicacies and breakfast classics. The vegetarian selection is large and the organic quality is self-evident.

Tense and relax

If you want to take it easy, you are in good hands in the HimmelBLÜ. Here is the spa on the roof as well as the "FREIRAUM", where you can really get into the "Yoga Flow" above the roofs of Hofgastein with a view of the Gastein mountains. Next to it is the HimmelBLÜ Garden, which takes the classic cottage garden to a new level.

Readers will love the library with its box seats on the terrace: to retreat, to read, to write or simply to do nothing.

As a perfect basis for all active adventures in the Gastein Valley, the BLÜ is of course equipped with a well-equipped ski and bike room. And for those who like to sweat indoors, the BLÜ has a small fitness area.

Das Hotel BLÜ in Gastein

Das BLÜ ist das neue Alpine Casual Hotel im Gasteinertal. Es entfaltet sich in prominenter Lage – mitten am Kaiser-Franz-Platz im Herzen von Bad Hofgastein. Hier ist es ganz der freien Entfaltung gewidmet, dem Genießen und allem und alledem, was nichts mit Alltag zu tun hat. Das BLÜ ist der entspannteste Ankerpunkt für sämtliche Abenteuer, die das Gasteinertal zu bieten hat.

Wohnen

Mit dem „Baumhaus“ entsteht ein völlig neuer Hoteltrakt, in dem sich Freigeister und InteriorliebhaberInnen sehr wohl fühlen. Das Baumhaus bietet Raum für 30 zeitgemäß und sehr lässig gestaltete Doppelzimmer der Kategorien „BLÜ Moon“ und „BLÜ Cool“.

Im Haupthaus finden sich darüber hinaus gepflegte Einzelzimmer und Doppelzimmer der Kategorien „BLÜ Small“ und „BLÜ Grand“ – großteils sind die Zimmer mit einem Balkon ausgestattet.

In der BLÜ Bar, direkt am Kaiser-Franz-Platz pulsiert das Leben. Und das für Gäste und Einheimische gleichermaßen. Ein schneller Caffè al banco im Vorbeigehen, ein Glas Prosecco mit Freunden, ein gutes Bier von der lokalen Brauerei nach der Bergtour oder perfekt gemixte Drinks zum Jazzkonzert oder zur DJ-Line – für alles ist hier Platz.

Daneben wird im BLÜ Restaurant fein gespeist. Die "BLÜ Kitchen" powered by Kulinarik-Mastermind Wini Brugger vereint die regionale Küche mit Einflüssen aus der weiten Welt. Hier steht der klassische Schweinsbraten vom Bio-Jungschwein und ein Cordon BLÜ natürlich vom Kalb auf der Karte, aber es findet sich darauf ebenso Sushi vom Alpenfisch, geschmackvoll marinierter Oven Roast Cauliflower oder vegetarisches Dschungel Curry. Mit regionalen Produkten und internationalen Zutaten trifft Brugger genau den Zeitgeist und sorgt mit der „BLÜ Kitchen“ für Freude, Abwechslung und Genuss. Wer im BLÜ Urlaub mit Halbpension macht, kann hier – ganz getreu des Mottos „Bin so frei“ – zu einem selbst gewählten Zeitpunkt des Tages das 3 Gang Menü (gegen Aufpreis à la Carte) essen. Und jeden Tag mit allerhand Köstlichkeiten und Frühstücksklassikern beginnen. Dabei ist die vegetarische Auswahl groß und die Bio-Qualität selbstverständlich.

Anspannen und entspannen

Wer’s einmal ruhig angehen möchte, der ist im HimmelBLÜ gut aufgehoben. Hier befindet sich das Spa am Dach sowie der „Freiraum“, in dem man über den Dächern von Hofgastein mit Blick in die Gasteiner Bergwelt so richtig in den „Yoga Flow“ kommt. Daneben wartet der HimmelBLÜ Garden, der den klassischen Bauerngarten auf ein neues Level hebt.

Belesene werden die Bibliothek mit ihren Logenplätzen auf der Terrasse lieben: zum Rückzug, zum Lesen, zum Schreiben oder einfach zum Nichtstun.

Als perfekte Basis für sämtliche Aktiv-Abenteuer im Gasteinertal, ist das BLÜ selbstverständlich mit einem bestens ausgestatteten Ski- und Bike-Raum ausgestattet. Und für jene, die gerne indoors schwitzen, wartet das BLÜ mit einem kleinen Fitnessbereich auf.
