At the foot of the Schlossalm in Bad Hofgastein the Maurachgut organic farm, your ideal starting point for day-trips exploring the Salzburger Land, welcomes you both in winter and summer.
Accommodation location
Our Maurachgut organic farm is situated 1,000 metres above sea level and offers you fantastic views of the Hohe Tauern mountain world during your vacation in Bad Hofgastein. Amidst lush green meadows you can enjoy a relaxing time in harmony with nature. In winter, you can reach the skiing piste directly on foot and/or descend right to the Maurachgut with your skis when the valley descent is accessible. The centre of Bad Hofgastein, the valley station of the Schlossalmbahn as well as the Alpentherme thermal spa Bad Hofgastein are all only 7 minutes away by car. You reach a restaurant as well as an inn in winter as well within 10 minutes only on foot. Hiking trails as well as a nature sled run are reachable directly from our house.
Holidays on our farm
Vacation in a family-friendly atmosphere – the historical farm has already been managed by our family for several generations. Whether vacation with children in winter or partner holidays in summer – here with us, there is accommodation for everyone. Our spacious holiday apartments consists of one or two bedrooms, a vestibule with a wardrobe, a bathroom, as well as of an apartment kitchen with a cosy dining corner. In the apartment kitchen you will find a dishwasher, a kettle as well as a baking-oven. On request, we are happy to provide a breakfast basket that we fill with self-produced products, like milk, eggs, teas from the herb garden, home-made jam as well as with healthy juices.
Farm holidays - Chicken, calves, cows, sheep, goats, horses, cats, our mini-pony and rabbit – experience farm life first hand with your children, pet our animals and help with the daily work in the stables.
Winter in Gastein
From the apartment right to the piste – the descent of the Schlossalm skiing area is right around the corner. Fun for young and older guests alike is guaranteed when tobogganing or bobsledding in the Gasteinertal.
Summer in Gastein
In summer Bad Hofgastein is characterised by its numerous alpine pastures that are reachable after longer or shorter hikes. In the evening you can share your vacation experiences having a campfire. The perfect place for recovery in the middle of nature.

Lage der Unterkunft
Auf 1.000 Metern Meereshöhe liegt unser Biobauernhof in Alleinlage und bietet Ihnen in Ihrem Urlaub in Bad Hofgastein einen fantastischen Ausblick über die Bergwelt der Hohen Tauern. Inmitten der saftig grünen Wiesen genießen Sie hier eine erholsame Zeit im Einklang mit der Natur. Im Winter können Sie bei geöffneter Talabfahrt die Piste direkt zu Fuß erreichen bzw. mit Ihren Skiern direkt bis zum Maurachgut abfahren. Das Zentrum von Bad Hofgastein, die Talstation der Schlossalmbahn sowie die Alpentherme Bad Hofgastein liegen nur 7 Fahrminuten von uns entfernt. Ein Restaurant, sowie im Winter einen Gasthof erreichen Sie innerhalb von 10 Gehminuten. Wanderwege sowie eine Naturrodelbahn erreichen Sie direkt von unserem Haus aus.
Urlauben am AusZEIT-Bauernhof
Urlaub in einer familiären Atmosphäre – der historische Hof wird schon seit vier Generationen von unserer Familie bewirtschaftet. Egal ob im Winterurlaub mit Kindern oder Sommerurlaub zu zweit – hier findet sich für jeden die passende Unterkunft. Die beiden großen Ferienwohnungen bestehen aus zwei Schlafzimmern, einem Vorraum mit Garderobe, einem Badezimmer, sowie einer Wohnküche mit gemütlicher Sitzecke. In der Wohnküche finden Sie Geschirrspüler, Elektroherd mit Backofen sowie sämtliche benötigte Kochutensilien vor. Die kleinere Ferienwohnung für 2 Personen besteht aus einen Schlaf-/Wohnraum, einem Vorraum und einem Badezimmer. Auf Anfrage stellen wir Ihnen gerne ein Frühstückskorb bereit. Dafür verwenden wir hausgemachte Produkte von unserem Bauernhof, wie Milch, Eier von unseren Hühnern, Tees aus dem Kräutergarten, selbstgemachte Marmelade sowie gesunde Säfte.
Bauernhof erleben - Hühner, Kälber, Kühe, Schafe, Ziegen, Pferde, Katzen, Minipony und Hase – erleben Sie oder gemeinsam mit Ihrem Kindern den Alltag des Bauernhofes, streicheln unsere Tiere und helfen Sie bei der täglichen Stallarbeit mit.
Winter in Gastein
Von der Wohnung auf die Piste – die Talabfahrt des Skigebiets Schlossalm liegt hinter unserem Bauernhof. Bei geöffneter Abfahrt ist die Zufahrt mit den Skiern bis zum Haus möglich. Spaß für Jung und Alt gibt es bei einer Rodelpartie oder beim Bobfahren im Gasteinertal.
Sommer in Gastein
Im Sommer besticht Bad Hofgastein mit zahlreichen Almen, die Sie bei längeren oder weniger anspruchsvollen Wanderungen von unserem Biohof aus erreichen. Abends können Sie bei einem Lagerfeuer die Urlaubserlebnisse Revue passieren lassen. Die ruhige Lage unseren Hofes bietet den perfekten Ort, um den Alltag hinter sich zu lassen und sich eine Auszeit in der Natur zu gönnen.
