Description

For walkers!

This beautifully designed promenade begins just a little bit below Mozartplatz. The start of the path is decorated by a bust of „Erzherzog Johann“, memorializing this man who was such a loyal guest of Bad Gastein. Flanked by deciduous and coniferous trees, you will reach the railway crossing before continuing uphill to the highest point on this walk, the herb garden in Hinterschneeberg with its marvelous views. The hike down takes you along a road with very little traffic back to Bad Hofgastein.
