Bad Gastein

Waterfall with a drop of 341 meters in 3 levels trought the centre of Bad Gastein

The motive for many painters and poets. The vaporisation of ionized air has a very positive and pleasant effect on the general well-being. Sources of the Gasteiner Ache are the Anlaufbach and the Naßfelder Ache in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park.  The stone waterfall-bridge was built in 1840 and extended in 1927. Along the waterfall leads a path (Wasserfallweg) to Badbruck. The path is closed in winter.
