If you like tradition and nevertheless do not wish to dispense with a certain level of luxury, you will surely come to love our centrally situated four-star Alpina hotel in Bad Hofgastein. The pecial characteristic of our hotel lies in the combination of the traditional fire-place parlour and the original pie wood area with elegantly furnished rooms. You can discover the Gasteinertal, surrounded by the summits of the Hohe Tauern range right outside our hotel thanks to its access to the extensive hiking paradise or skiing in the Schlossalm Angertal Stubnerkogel skiing area with the longest descent of the Eastern Alps. Should you wish to explore the area with the bicycle, get to know the Gasteinertal along the Alpe Adria cycling trail. Located right at the Achenpromenade, you feel will the Bad Hofgastein’s flair when strolling the area. Access to the hotel is trouble-free, parking is possible right at the house.
Description
Whether families or couples, individual travellers or groups – our 68 rooms, mostly with balcony, are quietly oriented towards the park or offer fantastic views of the Stubnerkogel. The home-made and regional products of our breakfast buffet provide the necessary energy for your active hiking and/or skiing day in the Gasteinertal. Grant yourself peace in the large garden or enjoy a revitalising cup of coffee on the sun terrace. We pamper our guests with a gala dinner once per week.
You experience the soothing effect of Gastein’s thermal waters after a guided hike in our own spa area including sauna and steam bath, as well as on occasion of a visit at the Alpentherme thermal spa in Bad Hofgastein. The newly opened thermal bathing lakes hereby offer a special experience.
Winter in Gastein
The varied Schlossalm Angertal Stubnerkogel skiing area equally offers fun for skiing beginners and professionals. When snow shoe hiking, on a romantic horse sleigh ride or a fast-paced toboggan ride winter in the Gasteinertal can also be enjoyed off-piste.
Summer in Gastein
In addition to mountain biking, the via ferrata trails to the Schlossalm promise unforgettable vacation fun in Gastein. After hiking in the Hohe Tauern national park the new thermal water lakes of the Bad Hofgastein’s Alpentherme thermal spa invite you to refill your batteries.

Das Gasteinertal, umringt von den Gipfeln der Hohen Tauern, entdecken Sie unweit unseres Hotels beim Einstieg in das weitläufige Wanderparadies des Salzburger Landes oder beim Skifahren im Skigebiet Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel mit der längsten Abfahrt der Ostalpen. Wer lieber mit dem Fahrrad die Gegend erkundet, kann auf einem Teil des Alpe-Adria-Radweges das Salzburger Land kennen lernen. Die hausgemachten und regionalen Produkte unseres Frühstücksbüffets sorgen für die nötige Energie für Ihren aktiven Wander- bzw. Skitag in Bad Hofgastein. Gönnen Sie sich Ruhe in der großen Gartenanlage oder eine belebende Tasse Kaffee auf der Sonnenterrasse. Einmal wöchentlich verwöhnen wir unsere Gäste beim Galadinner.
Die belebende Wirkung des Gasteiner Thermalwassers erleben Sie nach einer geführten Wanderung im hauseigenem Spa samt Sauna und Dampfbad, sowie bei einem Besuch der Alpentherme Bad Hofgastein. Ein besonderes Erlebnis bieten Ihnen hier die Thermalbadeseen.
